I’m tying two concepts together that may not seem related at first, but once I point it out, becomes impossible to miss.
Marketing and feminine seduction are based on the same principals.
Beautiful invitations that speak to the senses and subconscious that are meant to transport you to a desired outcome.
It’s phenomenal in many ways.
And something to be cautious of as well.
They pose the same power and danger.
Navigating this realm is mostly instinct and important to discuss.
In today’s episode I’m more precise with what a skillful vs unskillful shapeshifter is. It’s all based on awareness, conscious decisions and opening vs closing.
Theres a particular pattern in the somatics of someone who shapeshifts with an open heart vs a closed one. A really good example is below. I’m showing you how being a bitch “the right way”.
When the heart is open you feel the truth of the experience in the entire body. When the heart is closed the words hold more venom because an aspect of you is hiding, so it feels more like a localized attack when the words land.
To understand the impact of shapeshifting is getting more acquainted with the concept of soft power. This is a magnetism that lowers defenses and attracts people to you. When done artistically it puts the other in a small hypnotic state. They’re curious, mesmerized and go from an analytical mind to a fully present body.
These are concepts marketers a familiar with. They understand the language of the subconscious. Visuals, repetition, branding and the “target audience” are all aspects of influencing potential buyers.
When it comes to women and seduction there are two sides of the coin. What I’d like to point out is this, beauty is meant to transcend the man or audience above the present moment.
The best example I can think of is a belly dancer. A woman grounded in her body with movements that are difficult to make sense of, but something that puts you in awe. Her bangles and accessories add a sound that creates a rhythm. And of course, she’s stunning.
She captures your attention and holds it. There is a micro moment of being “beholden”.
In the work of Virginia Postrel, she covered her theory on glamour being a transcendent act. An idea I found fascinating and recapped in the reel below.
This is the art form of beauty and femininity that’s been lost. The new methods take men to their lower head and leave them there vs creating a full Body experience that brings them up and above the “mundane”.
In the coming weeks I’ll be examining the effect of beautiful women and marketing on men and the masses.
I start our dialogue with a neutral explanation, but there’s an ugly side to this phenomena.
If a woman shapeshifts to trick a man for their own gain she is a gold digger, whore and even a catfish.
If a salesperson tricks a prospect for their own gain, they are an imposter, scam artist and fraud.
Both exist. Both deserve a deep analyzation. Both will be critiqued.
But as you know, I’m not one to throw the baby out with the bath water. Seduction and marketing are not inherently evil.
But the ones who leverage these tactics to create damage in their wake…
I have thoughts.
So let’s continue the conversation.
