It’s time to put the pieces together.
Archetypes. Range. Variety.
In a nutshell, this work:
Integrates a fragmented psyche
Depicts the spiritual quest of wholeness
And of course… makes you more sexually attractive to the opposite sex
So…. who is the archetype of all archetypes?
The shapeshifter.
Before we dive deep…
A conceptual review:
Masculine forms seek completion, experiences satisfaction when empty, feels relieved upon release
Feminine forms seek movement, experiences satisfaction when full, feels relieved upon expression
The shape shifter is the feminine aspect of all of us. It is not the end destination but the space in between. Not the final outcome but the slippery space of the unknown. It is the movement that can’t predict the end result.
Now… when there’s too much up to chance… too much unpredictability… it starts to feel a smidge unnerving, maybe even a bit dangerous.
In efforts to control it, society has done quite the number on silencing the shapeshifter. Some practical examples are neglecting the arts, carbon copy beauty standards, demeaning menstruation, favoring linear logic over cyclical wisdom.
I don’t mean to be that guy. And I cringe when I hear this rhetoric.
But this is an attack on femininity. Women have experienced the brunt of it but men have felt the effects too.
The past several years I’ve created content to show you the shapeshifter in a different lens. In playful ways, fun ways, flirty ways, interesting ways. The shapeshifter has many functions but I wanted you acquainted with a more palatable side.
I quietly introduced the shapeshifter this way on purpose. The power structure has gone over time in controlling, subverting and minimizing the shapeshifter to the best of their ability.
And they have a point. The shapeshifter can be… a little scary. Intimidating even. It has a nefarious side.
Many use this expression to scam, lie, deceive and betray.
This is a robust topic. And I’m covering both sides of the coin.
For now, let’s review. The power of the archetypes. The path they present for our spirit. The purpose they serve in love. And of course the intrigue they curate between the sexes.
It only works if… you shape shift between them.
