The Conversationalist
Hello! A brief introduction.
Intention
To explore a new medium.
I am interested in a vast array of things, mostly how men and women connect. Specifically, I’m an observer of communication between the sexes.
I believe communication is rooted in identity and self-expression. You must know who you are to communicate what you want and what you don’t.
Identity
I’m fascinated with identity formation and what’s been adopted subconsciously. People’s origin stories have always been a great interest of mine, but recently I’ve wondered how much of the media and mainstream culture is influencing our perception. Modern times have influenced how men and women identify. I believe the impact has made it more difficult to unify. I’ll be pondering this overlap in my writing.
Self- Expression
Everyone expresses themselves in two ways: verbally and non-verbally. My favorite topics within this realm are fashion, body language and how the sexes connect and negotiate. It may feel broad, but I’ve realized it’s all related. The pattern of one’s personality shows up in how they dress and how they move their body.
I’ll be writing in detail and broad strokes about my observations and realizations that I’ve accumulated thus far.
