We are officially at the end of the feminine odyssey.
Seven weeks. Seven Archetypes.
I’ve loved it.
To close us out we conclude with the cool intellectual. The Sage.
A woman known for her intelligence and communication skills, she is very comfortable in male-dominated environments. The sage can feel at home in political boardrooms, corporate workplaces and in platonic relationships with men.
She can be a great ally if interests are aligned. It’s her focus and objective perspective that make her a great teammate, business partner or wife. As Athena’s arrows represent in myth, she has a target and is tactical on how she shoots it. Whether it’s a work out routine, entrepreneurial endeavor or even crafting art, she finds great satisfaction in the daily discipline of executing her strategy.
Two words I would use to describe her are selective and perceptive. A very charming woman in her listening skills and communication, she’s not one to offer this to anyone. There’s a deep understanding of what’s useful and effective. This doesn’t mean personal relationships are strictly functional. It’s wisdom on who to invest in, and allow close to her heart and spirit.
What we discussed in the video below:
Characteristics: A woman of strategy and execution. She is a great orator. It’s her birds eye perspective that creates emotional distance and wisdom for how to pursue her goals and connect with others.
Skillful Applications: A diplomat and wise counsel for her community, job or romantic partners. Strikes a balance of the head and heart creating equilibrium between her passions and practicalities. The Sage is often the secret weapon in power couples of ambitious men.
Unskillful Applications: Sage women can turn well-intended armor into a isolation. Not complete withdrawal like the mystic, but removes warmth and is calculated and critical. Often dismisses sisterhood in the name of upkeeping masculine ideals and ethos.
Myth: Athena is the goddess of wisdom, warfare and weaving. I review 3 different birth stories that have been recorded of her inception. The main theme is she was birthed from Zeus as his “brain child” representing her intellect and service to patriarchal principals.

My dating history. Yep.
I’m a dominant Sage (shocker huh). I decided to do something different and share how the sage energy contributed to my chemistry with men. I go over the strong characteristics I have animated with this archetype and how it’s shaped my personal connections.
From my experience I disagree with many of the teachings that relate to how women connect with men.
One side of the fence is all strategy. Going in with dating tactical mental warfare to make sure you don’t end up the one who catches feelings first.
The other side suggests that taking men and women out of their head is how to cultivate true feminine energy and the solution to ensure polarity.
I disagree with both and go over that discussion as well.
Also! Take the archetype quiz and tell me your results! It’s quite lengthy (150 questions) so give yourself time. It’s also not mobile friendly so I recommend a laptop.
Last but not least!
I have a favor to ask of you… I need your feedback.
I’ve launched my course How to Be Sexy Without Inviting Sex. For those who did NOT purchase, I’d love to hear how you came to your decision.
What seems unrelated to you is GOLD for me. It’s one question. Completely anonymous. I have a goal of how many submissions I receive. So know your participation is valued and appreciated.
Help me grow here!
What a journey we’ve been on with the Feminine Odyssey. Thank you for joining me the past 7 weeks. I’m sure there will be more braiding of the archetypes in our future conversations. I’d love to hear what you learned, what made you think, and what you’ve seen differently.

I do not often leave comments, but I wanted to express my appreciation for addressing this topic. I have also observed that the mind has taken a negative connotation in femininity. Although I agree that it is important to be in the body and to feel it, I often felt like a very important part of me was being left out. It was confusing for me to hear that men do not like intellectual women. I think it is not about a woman being too intellectual, but about her energy and her expression as you have stated. One of the movie heroines I love and relate to, is the philosopher Hypatia in the movie 'Agora'. She is an example of a thinking woman who is also deeply feminine.
