I had an epiphany. Every virtual conversation on modern dating is rooted in defending power.
Many have oversimplified the idea.
They assume a man’s power means a woman’s disempowered.
They interpret a woman’s advantage as a man’s disadvantage.
It’s time we discuss what power is and how to use it as an exchange for harmony.
I’ve made a diagram! As we build on this concept feel free to reference.
In this video I explain how to apply the chart to popular relationship debates.
All of this came together for me at work one day. I grabbed a sticky note and wrote it down. (Have to act on these things quick).

The takeaways?
Power is neutral
“Relinquishing power” doesn’t mean defeat
It’s allowing other perspectives to impact your own decision making
The polarity conversation on masculine & feminine has been misinterpreted as masculine = embracing power & feminine = relinquishing power
This is far from the truth
Every expression of power can be skillful or unskillful
Nothing is always “bad”, “wrong” or “toxic”
