A Change of Heart

Change is the only constant has been said in some of the cutest ways.

• There's more than one way to skin a cat

• You can light two candles with one flame

• And that's why Baskin Robbins makes 36 different flavors of ice cream

Change is the way of life and… has been leveraged for very effective marketing.

Everyone has a protocol.

There's countless proven theories on how to lose weight, parent your kids, make a million, have a baby, increase your followers, look younger and of course get a man.

I came into this wisdom being in the fitness industry for over 10 years.  In between diets, exercise, science based strategies, intuitive theories, lots of cardio, zero cardio, fasting etc.

This is what I learned:

It all works.  And none of it works.

My body has been in the best shape and it's the "worst" physique in EVERY strategy.

One more time.

All of it works.  And none of it works.

This is where people mess up.  Becoming married to ONE idea.  THE diet or the PERFECT routine.  

Why do we grip so hard on these approaches?  Because... it worked.  It worked for you at one point and/or it clearly works for thousands of other people (from what you can gather online).

Want to know the real secret to success?

Change the strategy.  Often.

The more you grip a protocol, force a routine or die by the rules... the less longevity your results will have.

Trust me when I say this.  Even if it worked for them it doesn't have to work for you and that doesn't make you a failure.  Even if it was the golden ticket in one chapter of your life, don't let that reduce your sense of self for not yielding the same results.

Don't box your identity, relationship, sex appeal, friendships or child rearing into one protocol.
